The new season has arrived! Although we might be sad to wave goodbye to our beloved winter wardrobe, the spring stock beckons and it packs serious appeal. From colourful suits to neon knits, these are the high-street-hits to take notice of for the coming month. Stock up while still in stock, as they won’t be around for long…

Vibrant Suiting

Forgo the traditional tailoring and add a colourful twist to your sartorial attire. An eye-catching check or a block-coloured hue are brilliant ways to update your look for the new season. Team together with the matching separates or combination your favourite staples to double up on style. Alternatively, mix and match and wear one of each. Pastels on top and checks down below? Why not!

Chunky Chains

Thanks to the likes of Bottega Venetta and Tiffany, statement gold chains are fast becoming the accessory of choice. Providing high-impact appeal on a low-effort scale, this particular style has struck a chord with women craving something tougher than the delicate pendants they’ve been layering for so long. Our advice? Try one of each and wear at the same time. More is more!

Haute Heritage

Traditional tweed jackets have been a style saviour more times than we care to mention. Taking inspiration from Chanel, Gucci and Balmain, this season it’s once again claiming the throne as the coverup of choice. Whether opting for classic black, regal red or a bright white, slip yours over a pair of cropped wide-legged jeans, Mary Jane heels and a logo tee for effortless daytime attire.

Split Decision

Remember the time when skirt trousers were all the rage? Well, similarly, there’s a new trouser twist that’s making strides in the new season. Slit-hemmed trousers (note the front-facing cut) are an ideal update should you wish to add an eye-catching twist to your workwear attire. Best teamed with a crisp white shirt, they provide the perfect stage for a pair of statement shoes, thereby creating the ultimate desk-to-dinner outfit.

Neon Knits

While the temperature might still be dropping, don’t feel like the winter weather need limit you to a sombre palette of dark and solemn colours. Brighten up your day-to-day attire with a neon knit! Prada, Tibi and Balenciaga have all declared their love for vivid and vibrant hues. Tone down their dominance against pastel or neutral shades, or clash against berry- colourings for elegant results.

Think Pink

Bored of your winter coat? When mornings and evenings are still darker than we’d like, there’s one simple styling trick that’s sure to brighten up the bleakest months of the year. Whether pastel, dusty or bright, it’s time to think pink! Revolutionizing your outerwear, this statement cover-up will blend beautifully with your winter attire but will also last into the sunnier seasons too. Hint: Team with tough leather accessories should you wish to avoid overtly girly connotations.

Lustrous Leather

When it comes to statement separates, nothing demands the spotlight quite like a little leather. From a sultry pencil skirt to a trend-aware trucker jacket, slip into one of these garments and you’re instantly armoured for the day ahead. For a fashion-forward twist, blend against unexpected softer fabrics such like sheer silk shirts and fluffy cashmere knits for a ladylike spin. Trust us, heads will turn…
