It’s the month of love and whilst some may be sending Valentine’s cards, buying chocolates and picking out an outfit to wear on date night, the Tuesday Stylists are busy talking about the beauty products we adore. Read on to find out which items have stolen our hearts… Pestle & Mortar Pure Hyaluronic Serum, £39 Katie says… As an avid fan of Hyaluronic Acid Serums, this is by far my favourite and I honestly couldn’t imagine not having it as part of my routine. I religiously use it every morning to hydrate my skin, allowing a few minutes for it to soak in before moving on to my moisturiser. My complexion instantly looks revived, plump and dewy, as if I’ve drunk gallons of water (which I definitely haven’t!) Nic says… The Pixi Glow Tonic has really been a game changer in my everyday skincare routine. I have always had combination skin, so finding the balance between excess dry skin and oiliness can be a bit of a challenge. Since using the tonic after cleansing, I find it offers just the right amount of daily exfoliation that’s not too harsh for my face and gets rid of dry skin — especially during the cold weather. Pixi Glow Tonic, £18 Formula Absolute Ultimate Sleep Cream, £23 Kristy says… I recently had to endure a 24-hour flight back to Australia for Christmas and Formula’s Sleep Cream was the only thing that rescued my skin from severe dehydration. Because of this, I’m also now a total convert and wear it every night! Although the cream is rich, it still works with my oily skin. I apply a small amount to my face after I’ve cleansed and toned, and then wake up the next day looking and feeling rejuvenated. Jamie says: With normal-to-dry skin that’s in constant need of nourishment, I have been forever in search of an SPF cream that offers both hydration and sun protection, and I am thrilled to say the Alpha H Moisturiser has answered my skin-conditioning prayers. I smooth a small amount onto my skin every morning, layering under my makeup for day-long hydration and sun protection that leaves me with a healthy glow. Alpha-H Daily Essential Moisturiser SPF50+, £29 Emma Hardie Moringa Balm, £47 Jodie says… Not only does this luxurious cleansing balm smell absolutely heavenly (it transports me to a spa every time I use it) but it literally melts my makeup away. You only need the smallest amount of this indulgent cleanser to remove the most resilient mascara and when combined with the double-sided muslin cloth this product leaves my skin feeling soft to the touch and smelling amazing. Add to basket! Chloe says: Having received a sample of Pure’s Ultimate Cleanse Micellar Cleansing Oil at a beauty event a little while ago, I honestly haven’t looked back since. I use it every evening on dry skin to melt the day away before washing it off with warm water. It removes everything from stubborn mascara to a strong red lip and my skin always feels loved, plump and full of moisture afterwards, without feeling tight at all. Highly recommend! Pure Micellar Cleansing Oil, £10 SKYN Icelandic Youth Serum, £40 Ashley says… Initially drawn to its bright-red appearance and the promise of defending against premature-aging, I’m now completely sold on this magic serum. Now a key part of my routine, I put it on underneath my moisturiser and makeup in the morning, and then apply the lightweight formula once again before my heavier night cream just before hitting the hay. If you have a dehydrated, and sometimes spot-prone, complexion like mine this product is worth every penny. P.s the Astaxanthin in the red algae is 6000 times stronger than vitamin C! Rebecca says: Aside from the pretty packaging and mesmerising rosehip scent, what I love most about Neal’s Yard Wild Rose Beauty Balm is its adaptability. Whether using it as an exfoliating cleanser, a radiance-boosting facial mask or even as a daily moisturiser, there’s very little this wonder pot can’t do. You can even dab a little along your cheekbones and use it as a highlighter too for a little extra glow. Neal’s Yard Wild Rose Beauty Balm, £40 Pixi Rose Glow Mist, £16 Mary says… I have always been a fan of the Pixi range, so I could not wait to try their Rose Glow Mist. I use it every day and even keep it on my desk at work for when I need a wake-up spritz or some extra hydration. It’s also brilliant at freshening up my makeup before a night out as it leaves a dewy finish and really vitalises my skin.
